Cut Preparation on a Table Saw

On behalf of Expert Village, my name is George Engle with Mr. Fix-It Handyman in Miami, Florida and today I am going to be showing you how to set up and use and perform different cuts with a portable table saw. Okay we have all of our safety equipment in place. I am going to go ahead and show you how to make a couple of cuts. First we are going to use the fence. I am going to show you a rib cut with a piece of 2x4. Say you want to with a hand saw to cut this piece down the middle would be very difficult. It would be hard to get a straight cut with this saw. It is very easy to get any portion of this cut straight down the middle. I am going to go ahead and adjust those fence to 1 1/2, I am going to turn this on so you may not hear me.
