About the Fence on a Table Saw

On behalf of Expert Village, my name is George Engle with Mr. Fix-It Handyman in Miami, Florida and today I am going to be showing you how to set up and and perform different cuts with a portable table saw. All right we've discussed this. We also have another way of cutting which is a fence attachment that clips on here. This you can gage your cut you know 4 inch, 6, 8. No matter where you put it once you clamp this down, it is going to be straight so you don't have to worry about measuring back here because once the clamp takes up tension on this fence, it is going to line it up where it will be straight as relative to the blade. So you don't have to worry about that. It is a very very good feature of this saw and without it you probably wouldn't be able to make very straight cuts though. It's very useful and very helpful with cutting.
