Custom Gadgets in iGoogle

DREW NOAH: So I've gone through all the categories of gadgets and you can kinda get an idea. There's just so many gadgets out there and they're always--new gadgets are always coming up and definitely check out the hottest and most users gadgets with lots of users are going to be--gadgets that probably work really well and are pretty cool. So always remember that. And remember to--you can search for specific gadgets. But now we're going to talk about how you can "Create your own gadget" and this is a little box right below the search. I'm just going to the-- click the try it now link and these are pretty cool. It's nothing like programming or anything. You just can--you've got these like template gadgets that you can create. Framed photo, GoogleGram, a little list that's kind of an nice thing, you can personalize it and make it a Shopping List or something like that. So I think this list gadget is really useful. You can get a specific YouTube channel and then there's this free form gadget actually, it's pretty cool too, it can make--let's check out this free form one, so see you can make a title and then you can put a photo for it and then the text, get your settings and then create the gadget. And then it'll actually be a gadget that other people can use. This one's pretty cool as well, the daily me, kinda like a social thing that you can do with iGoogle. When you set up this little gadget and you can update your status or lately I'm thinking or currently reading or this is really interesting and they've even got just got plain old soapbox for text. So you can update the things about you and your friends can add the gadget to their iGoogle homepage and then they'll see everything that you're updating. So you can do a photo, change your title of course, change your background. You see how as I go it's showing me what there is. So as my put my photo in, as put in this stuff, you'd actually see it working so--so those are just some of custom gadgets you can do. Probably--I think the most useful one would be this just simple list program and then the free form and the daily me are also very cool. But check out these other ones as well. So those are the custom gadgets in iGoogle or the "Make your own gadget section."
