Getting Started with Bass Guitar
Hi, my name’s Dalton and we’re going to be talking about the different things you need to get started playing the bass. First off, and probably most important is your bass. You need to find a good bass with four strings on it that does work and make sound. You can get any starter package ranging from $100-200 from any music store. The things that you need inn that package will consist of an amp, you don’t need one this big, but just one that will make a sound and let you know what you’re doing. You’ll need a strap because it’s very important to play standing up. And you’ll need to get some picks and probably a book about learning technique and stuff like that. A good guitar tuner would be good too because you’ve got to stay in tune to know what you’re doing. You’ll probably need a cord to go from your amp to your guitar. And curiosity is the most important thing.
