Easter Grass & Bachelorette Party Invitations

Now we're ready for our next step and that's getting this side of the box ready and in this side of the box I'm actually going to use some of this easter grass. Now I picked iridescent easter grass because we're going to be doing pink and first of all it's a little shiny, it makes it really nice and sparkly and festive and also whatever color it's near, it picks up. So as soon as I put the easter grass in the top it will pick up on the pink, it will also pick up on the lavender colors that I might be using later on with the invitation. Whatever color it's near, it picks up, so that's why I like the iridescent. Now there's also a special way to put the easter grass inside of the box. I find this to be one of the most challenging portions of this invite because you have to really, you want to have enough easter grass so that you don't see what's inside the box. Yet it's really hard sometimes to get the easter grass to stay put. That's fun for easter baskets but not for invitations. So I'm going to take a lot here and I need to ball it up in my hands as tightly as possible to really crush it and condense it and then we're going to keep it in the top of the box like this. I hope it stays put. (You stay there!) And then when you're actually ready to close it up, you have to close it up really quick and if you have stuff on the side, you can kind of pull it out like this or trim it, but if we have it condensed on the top portion, it should stay there. (So stay there!) Well get back to that later. Let's move onto our next step.
