How to Use Tubing for Spring Napkin Holders

Hi. I'm Stephanie Barnett on behalf of Expert Village. I'm here to show you how to make seasonal napkin ring holders. Look how lovely Spring is. These are the supplies you'll need for this step for a Spring napkin ring holder. You'll need your hot glue gun, you'll need your ribbon and a ruler to measure your ribbon, you'll need your cardboard tubing and your scissors. So measure out your ribbon. I've pre-measured it. I want you to take your hot glue and put a little bit on the inside, and you're going to anchor your ribbon right there. Then I want you to take this around. And you're going to make a bead of hot glue all the way across. You can use your craft glue as well for this. You're going to smooth that down and you're going to wrap this through. You're going to pull tight. Make sure that's taut, and then you're going to apply another bead of hot glue. You want to angle this a little bit so this comes up looking straighter. If you do this really close to each other, you'll have really tight pleats. Or if you want wide pleats, do it farther away. Another bead of glue. Okay, so pull sort of to the side. It doesn't matter if its angled on the inside, and pull that across. Push down.
