Well this cute little guy is designed for years of worry free service. There are a couple of things that you are going to want to check and replace and one of those are the wings. Now the wings are part of the wear part series at the bottom and what they do is make sure that there is a full suction pattern meaning that all of this area is being used. Each time that it makes a pass in the pool. But as time wears on, the wings wear out. And there is a little hash mark right here a little wear mark that you can use as a guide to know when to replace them. And when it comes time it's wearing past that. It 's time for a new set. Let's show you how to do that. The first thing is to get just a little flat head screwdriver and pop the little pod plug right out there. She will wiggle out pretty easy and then right off the hook and second set of hooks she comes right off. Now all you have to do is go right to your local pool retailer and get a new set of wings. Pretty straight foreword. Now putting them on is easy also. All your going to do there is you see a couple of hooks at the bottom you want to go over and then a little tiny nipple right there and you are going to want to go over it and then right on the two hooks and then put the pod plug back in place. And now you have a new set of wings.
