Adding Mascara Makeup for a Beyonce Look

The eyes are almost finished. We just have to do some mascara. At this point, you can put on false eyelashes if you want to really be dramatic. She's got great lashes. You can also curl your eyelashes with an eyelash curler beforehand to get them nice and curly. She's got nice, natural curled eyelashes. I'm just taking a thickening mascara and I'm going to really pile it onto her lashes. You really want to make the lashes look thick and voluminous. You can really pile on the mascara. That tarantula eye look is what we're going for. You really want to pile on the mascara and just cake it on and get it to look really dramatic. If you're using false eyelashes, you can just put on your lashes and maybe do a little coat of mascara underneath. With false eyelashes, you really don't need to do much in the way of mascara. Really kind of pile the mascara on and get the lashes long and thick, especially toward the end. Look up a tiny bit. Like I said, curl your eyelashes if they're not naturally curly because it makes a huge difference. Also, you want to do underneath the eye. You really want to kind of line the under eyes with mascara too. This will open the eye. You really want that look of the eye popping with that kind of line on the end. Once you have a nice thick coat, you can either go back and do one more coat, or I find usually if you do a nice thick one coat, it's enough. Look at the tremendous difference.
