Now that the base is on, we're going to move on to the lid. We're going to use a really fun color. This is called sushi flower. It's a MAC color. It's from one line that they had was definitely an Asian inspired line. It's got red and kind of salmon and peach and also gold, so it's a really cool color to use on a lid. It's definitely going to stand out. I'm using a small brush and I'm just dipping into it. Don't dip it too much because this is a pigmented color and you just want to put a little at a time until you get the desired look. Close for me. This is going directly on the lid of the eye. Lid of the eye is where the ball of the protrudes. Right here. You want to go up from the lash line all the way up to the crease, but you don't want to go up any higher than the crease. Underneath the brow, you want to keep it pretty highlighted. You want to blend, blend, blend really well. You don't want a harsh line where it looks like one eye shadow is and the next eye shadow is. Just add a little more and a little more as desired and just really blend it into the eye really smoothly. You don't want to swipe this on the eye because it's going to fall right off. You want to really kind of stipple it or buff it onto the lid. Just little by little, just keep adding some more. This is a good brush to use anything really small because it will adhere to the lid a little better than a large fluffy brush. Just keep adding and adding. This is a really cool color. This is a funky kind of dramatic look, so you can get a little deeper with this color. Open for me. Close. A little more and then we'll be ready to do the crease. You can use this color wet if you want as well, if you want a more vibrant look. That's up to you. Open. I'm also going to take a little bit underneath the eye. Just a teeny tiny bit. Just the residue from the brush. Just be very careful with colors like this. If you have blood shot eyes or deep under eye circles, you don't want to put any sort of red underneath your eye. Since she's young and gorgeous, of course, I'm going to do that.
