Adding Eye Base Makeup for a Beyonce Look

Now we're going to start with the eyes. The first thing you want to do with any makeup look is do a base. For this geisha glam look, we're doing a little more a bronze and kind of red, rusty, and peachy color. We're going to use a base that's like a champagne color that has a bit of gold to it, but it's not a gold. You still want to keep the base color pretty neutral. I'm going to use a big brush. You can't mess this up. It's called grain, so it's very neutral, champagne, nude color. You just want it to go all over the entire lid. All the way up under the brow and really pile it on. Since it's a natural color, you really want to pile it on so that it shows well. I'm going to take a little of this and go under the eye as well. Look up for me. Anything you do on the top, you really want to put a little bit on the bottom, unless you're going for a specific look. Just to even everything out, I'm going to put a little bit on the bottom. This is going to brighten the under eye as well because this has a natural iridescence to it, so it's going to give a glow to the eye. Really put it strongly too under the brow because this is going to act as a highlight as well. Look up for me. Look at the difference already. What a nice, smooth look that is compared to not using a base and trying to put a lid color on.
