KEVIN BARRETT: Okay, I'm here showing you the different parts of a wheelchair, all right? So before you get on this, you'll probably want to know what this is. Now, a lot of people have seen wheelchairs but not a lot of people ride wheelchairs; it's because usually you have to be handicapped or older and have problem learning wheelchair, or this is for the young capable people. I'm going to show you the different fun things that you can do with the wheelchair. So, here are the different parts. This is obviously an armrest that you're going to be sitting in. We have the seat that you sit in right here. Down at the bottom right here we have our little foot pegs. Okay, this is where you're going to put your feet when you're riding around. Then, over here, we have our wheel. Now, our wheel is very big. It makes it very easy for you to go everywhere with it, but the way that you're actually going to be pushing yourself is on this part right here. This inner plastic part, that's where you're going to grip to actually forward and backward. Moving on, we have two other wheels. These are the other wheels right here. Now, these are very important to have on the wheelchair, because if you did not have these wheels, you're just going to be skidding on the ground because a lot of your weight is down here where your feet are. So, if these weren't here, you'd be laying on the ground skidding along, all right? Well, I'm going to show a way that we can wheel up and not even use these wheels. So, the next thing right here is your emergency brake. You're going to have your regular brakes, all you're controlling your hands, but say you're on a hill or something and you need an emergency brake just like a car, you just simply push that forward and that will lock up the tire, so now it's not going to go anywhere. One other thing right here back here are the handles. These are usually used for somebody to push you along with. So if you are not capable of using your hands to move the tire, somebody else can hold on to this handles and push you along. They only thing that we're using these handle is for is safety though. It's because when you fall down, this is the first part that hits the ground and that's going to save your head from getting all messed up. So, those are the different parts of the wheelchair. Let's get in and take a first spin out of....
