How to Do a Backward Swizzle on Ice Skates

Hi I'm Simone Fisher and I'm here at Clearwater Ice Arena in sunny Clearwater Florida. On behalf of Expert Village. Some more to the forward swizzle's where you have the V position and the toes together and you give a hug. We also teach our skaters how to do backward swizzles. Backward swizzle's again, very important that we keep our shoulders up square our head looking straight ahead. We make a piece a pizza with our feet. By taking our toes and placing them together, and then we use bend our knees and using our inner thigh muscle we push back pulling out heels in together, and then giving the feet a hug. Once again toes together, push back, pulling the heels in, and then squeezing the feet side by side.
