Applying Sealant to Top Weatherstripping

On behalf of Expert Village, my name is George Engle with Mr. Fix-It Handy here in Miami, Florida and today I am going to be showing you how to install weather stripping on the exterior of your garage door. Okay I've already got the nails in the box, we are going to go ahead and apply the sealant to it. Again, even all the way down, make sure you get till you get all the way cause you don't want anything coming in. That is the purpose of the weather stripping. You keep the elements and critters out of your garage. Okay. I am going to go ahead and put these two pieces up and we've got one more piece across the top of this one and we are going to put a joint, they don't make them in lengths long enough, so we are going to have to put two of them together. I am going to show you how to do that right now.
