How to Cut Weatherstripping

On behalf of Expert Village, my name is George Engle with Mr. Fix-It Handyman here in Miami, Florida and today I am going to be showing you how to install weather stripping on the exterior of your garage door. We are going to measure our piece down to 83 1/4. All righty, you just need a little mark because this box will make it sit just right for you. You don't have to make a straight line or anything. Once you get it in the box, you will line it up flush with your backside so that your cut will be straight. Insert your saw, make sure that you are on your mark and from there, it is a little elbow grease and just like that. We have our piece cut. We are going to prep it to remove any labels that are on the back of it. Make the adhesive stick a little bit better for you there.
