How to Prep for Weatherstripping

On behalf of Expert Village, my name is George Engle with Mr. Fix-It Handyman here in Miami, Florida and today I am going to be showing you how to install weather stripping on the exterior of your garage. Okay keep working on this until you get it all nice and smooth. As I said before, the smoother it is, the easier it is going to be for you later on to get your finishing done because you want a nice clean job. The best way to guarantee that is to make sure that your surface is well prepped for what it is you are doing and in this case, new weather stripping that we are going to be putting up. This is old caulking that they used to seal up the other one which is what we are going to be doing in the end to finish it off. You see it comes off pretty easy.
