How to Stay Clean When Weatherstripping

On behalf of Expert Village, my name is George Engle with Mr. Fix-It Handyman here in Miami, Florida and today I am going to be showing you how to install weather stripping on the exterior of your garage. Hey, so we are going to clean up our area, scrape a little more paint, a and little more plaster. We've got a little brush here, a little sweep utility brush. I like to use this to clean up after myself when I am done and also to clean up anything that I may have found underneath the old trim, dust, loose pieces of plaster, any concrete or old caulking that is in there will come off with a brush. If not, we use a scraper again. Clean up your work area real well so that when you do put on your adhesive and your sealant, it gets a good seal on both surfaces and you know prevent the bugs and stuff from coming in and it will last for a very long time.
