How to Show Customers Appreciation

In this section we'll be discussing another model known as the ABCs of customer service. I'm Pamela Unruh on behalf of Expert Village. The next factor to think about in the C of the ABC model is to use appreciation just a simple "thank you", goes a very very long way. We talked before about the importance of thanking your customer but in this case, I also want to talk about how any business that stresses customer oriented service. Show some appreciation and thanks to those who provide it and we're going to talk a little bit more later about some reward programs that you can offer. But if your asking your employees to show some good customer service and follow the basic element of courteously and right down to the last thank you, I appreciate it then I believe it's important to set that example for your employees as well. We use to have a program in a call center that I worked in called "catch me if you can", if we caught an employee or over heard somebody using very good customer service we reward them. With low cost items sometimes we would give them a day off free, sometimes an extra hour of lunch but that went a really long way so what I would like to focus on here. Is that it's just as important to say thank you to your customer it's also very important to show appreciation to the people who provide the good customer service in your company.
