Learn About Simple Stained-Glass PanelsHi I'm Penny Safranek and we're here with expertvillage.com and we're here in my studio in Venice, California and today I'm going to show you how to make a simple stained glass panel to hang in your window. I started doing stained glass back in the 1970's when I lived on a barge on the Hudson River right across from Manhattan and the shimmering water, the light on the water was so inspirational that my stained glass just took off and I do think that anyone can get the same scintillation by oh keeping a light under the table. I have been taking stained glass commissions since I lived on the barge and now that I moved to Venice I still make personalized stained glass for people if they want.
