How to Paint Sky with Watercolors

JOHN R. JUNGER: Now, your pictures don't have to be very large. In other words, I'm going to do four pictures on this sheet of paper and you notice I keep drawing with the brush, and that's okay. And I'm going to put my lighthouse here. I'm going to put my rocks here, and I have sky and I've got water. So, those areas are going to be interesting. The first area that I'm going to do is the sky, so I'm wetting the sky. Then, I am going to take some blue. I'm going to do some graded wash in the sky. Now, you notice how that falls? I kinda like it so I'm going to leave it alone. Now, I'm going to add some orange to it. Okay.
