Avoiding Physical Indicators of Future Plays

VINCENT JAMAL: I'm Vincent on behalf of Expert Village. Now, we went over the gloves, things that he can give away. But sometimes players that are in different positions will do the same things and they're little giveaways, but he can do them as well. And a lot of them are--if he comes up and he switches his foot stance, for instance, if he comes up and changes his stance of his feet and he can't necessarily decide if he comes up and say he's leaning, he knows that he's going inside and he's starting to--he's got his body English already turned that way. It's a strong indicator. A strong indicator that this is what's going to happen, and that he's going this way. And this would allow a guy like Chris just to come down and take away his inside. So any time that you're doing things like this, don't stare where you're going to run. That's a big one, too. Staring where you're going to run, he's looking straight into his eyes. He doesn't care about anything else going on the field because the DB is a man on an island. So what he wants to make sure, he's not giving is any indications. He doesn't want to be obvious. He wants to make sure that he comes up and he's just as playing as he was the play before. The second he stares some place, somebody is going to start looking where he's looking. It might be a block. It might be anything, but it's a great way to tip off where the action's going to be.
