How to Stay Physically Consistent in a Football Game

VINCENT JAMAL: I'm Vincent on behalf of Expert Village. Now, when Brian leaves the huddle, Chris is coming down. This is somewhat of a chess match. They're trying to figure out what the other one is going to do. So what Brian absolutely doesn't want to do, see, he doesn't want to come up fidgeting. If his gloves are undone, he should probably leave them undone. Any adjustments, he should do in the huddle. So he doesn't want to come up pulling in his gloves. He doesn't want to come up looking like he's anticipating something big to happen. He doesn't want to come up wiping his hands on his pants. He doesn't want to give Chris any sort of indication that he is getting ready to catch the ball and do something big. He wants to basically come up just like his route. First five steps look the same when he comes out every time. He should look the same. There should be nothing different about what he's doing. It's a mental game, and a sharp guy like Chris will pick up on something like that. And this alerts him to really stick on his game now, really stay with BK. So let's see a little of the glove action, anything like that where he's not paying attention looking that, looking nervous, kind of getting ready, maybe the bad foot is twitching a little bit, his eyes are big. These are all points to avoid. Don't give him a thing to think about other than just his job. If you give him anything extra, you're a fool.
