Hi, I'm Karina Fraley for Expert Village and we are making our little fleece bag here. I've gone ahead and I cut my fleece, I folded the fabric in half and I cut it about 10 inches wide by about 8 1/2 inches in length. But again this is double the length because it is folded in half. This we're not going to cut this like we did with the pillow, we're going to go ahead and just leave this folded like that, we don't have to cut all three sides. So I like to use fleece because it's some easy fabric to work with, we don't have to finish it with a zigzag stitch. It isn't going to unravel on you. It holds up very nicely and it's easy to work with. So if you're just starting to learn how to sew, if this is one of your first projects, I think fleece is a very good choice in terms of fabric cause it's easy to work with. So go ahead cut out your fabric, get your sewing machine ready, pick out whatever color thread you want. The nice thing about fleece is you can see here, for this one I used pink thread and you can barely even see the color of the thread because of a pile it actually sinks in. So you have a little bit of room, a little bit of margin for error if you don't have exactly the right color thread. But go ahead get your sewing machine ready and in the next clip I'll show you how to sew it.
