Hi, I'm Karina Fraley for Expert Village. I am the official mom for mommywood.com and today we're going to be making some really easy to do sewing projects. Learning how to sew is one of the best things you can do particularly if you are a parent, it's a great way to spend some time with your children. It's easy to do, there's lots of things you can do very easily. You can find sewing machines at a range of prices, you don't have to go out and spend a whole lot of money, you can actually get a sewing machine for under $100. It really is kind of a neat thing to do if your little girl comes and asks you for a little purse, or a pillow, or some doll clothes, it's a nice thing to be able to make. So today I'm going to show you how to make some easy projects that will hopefully get you on your way to exploring all the fun of sewing. I am going to show you how to make a pillow like this. Something very simple, but it will dress up any little girl's room. And also a bag like this; this could be for a boy or a girl. A boy could put his lunch in here, very simple to make. Also a headband and a scrunchie and these are very simple to make and you can custom design them and match them to any outfit.
