Bass Scale : C Major
Hi, my name is Dalton, and we’re gonna be finding the notes of the C major scale. What we want to do first is find the C which is our root note, which is right here (3rd fret A string.) We want to find the second note of the scale which is a whole step which is right here a D (5th fret A string), and then we want to find the third not of the scale which is another whole step which is an E (2nd fret D string.) And then the next step is a half step right here which is an F (3rd fret D string.) Then a whole step which comes right here to a G (5th fret D string.) Then another whole step which is an A (2nd fret G string.) The next step will be another whole step which will be a B (4th fret G string.) Then the next step which goes back to our root note is a half step which is a C (5th fret G string) So in all you have a whole step, whole step, half step, whole step, whole step, whole step, half step to find your notes within the C major scale. And when you find them all you can play them, just like that.
