Applying Eye Liner for Dramatic Makeup

Now that the crease is done, we're going to add some more black. We're going to use a black eyeliner. A good liner to use with this is a black soft coal liner. I like smolder by MAC. It's a nice soft liner. It goes on really smooth so it doesn't pull on the skin and you can smudge it, which is what I'm going to do so that it looks really, really smokey. You can pile this liner on. Can you hold that for me? You want to start basically at the end of the eye and you want to make kind of a cat's eye. Slid it across the eye lid. Get as close to the lash line as you possibly can. Really just pile that line on. Then take a nice angle brush or a smudge brush and just smudge it in. You want to be neat about it, but it doesn't have to be a straight line. You don't want any harsh lines. You want it to all be smudgy and smokey. Open. You can just keep adding more as you feel you need or darken it as you feel you need. That's perfect. Then you want to also take this liner inside the eye. Like I said, as much black as you can possibly get around your eye. Be very careful. It's a very sensitive part, so you want to be really careful. You want to get that really nice and smokey.
