Organize Your Scrapbook Paper

Hi! My name is Courtney on behalf of Expert Village. In this series of clips, I'm going to show you how to organize your various scrapbook supplies. Now that I have a dedicated scrapbook workstation, I'm going to organize all of my scrapbook papers. The first choice I have is to use paper trays like these. You can sort your paper by color in these. The only thing with doing it this way is these do take up a little bit more space. If you use this option, you're going to want to make sure you have plenty of space to store these. You also can use plastic drawers, but again, you're going to be looking, needing the space to store all of those. The second option we have is a paper crate, or you could use a file cabinet drawer, or something like this with file folders. You can store all of your papers in here by color, but if you have 12x12 papers, you will have to buy a crate or a file system that is made for the 12x12, whereas this is meant for 8 1/2x11. This saves a, a lot of space and is still very easy to access all of your papers. A third option we have is to use an envelope like this. You can pick these up at any craft store. These come in 8 1/2x11 or 12x12. A great thing to use these for is if you want to organize your scrapbook papers by theme. For example, in here I have a school theme, so I have my papers and my stickers to keep all of my school scrapbooking things together. You then can store these in a basket or crate for easy access.
