Adding More Body to Origami Orchid

Now our orchid is almost complete all we have to do is just a few minor touch ups and details. This being a very organic model is going to have you can almost do anything with it at this point. What we are going to do is take the top leaf here on the back side of it. You can see this is where we have our initial folds here. We have bend it out a little bit. You can go ahead and fold those just a little bit here. Just grab this guy and give him a lot more body here. As we give him more body I'm going to take this part and just curl it over. This is really how the plant looks. Just curl it over like so and if you want to take it and give it a little spiral at the top here. Just take it and fold it up. Like I said this is organic so I'm just going to take it and just twist it. It does not matter. Just however you want to do it. However your vision on how this plant really looks. What we have here is we have the leaves here, on the plant it actually twist around. So we are going to take our chopstick and just roll it around here and twist it up really good and tight. That is the way the leaves would look. You may want to thin these up a little bit.
