Shaping the Origami Orchid

Now that we folded down all of our sides, it's time for our flower, orchid, to take shape now. What we're going to do is we're going to open it up to the section that we folded where our water catcher is going to be. Just kind of grab that top there and pull it down. As we pull it down, you see that it just kind of folds and wants to open up. We can reach in there and undo this whole little cup deal here. Just pull it down. That's the beginning of it. Go ahead and pull down this leaf here. We'll just open up the back of it like so. It's going to take a little bit working with it just to get it right. This is a very organic looking plant, so this is going to be a very organic looking model that we're dealing with here. In the next section, I'll show you how to finish this on up.
