Hi! I'm Leah with Refuel Spa on behalf of Expert Village. In this segment, I will be performing the pre-treatment. Again, I'm going to have my hand wet on the back of the unit and I'm going to go ahead and turn my machine on 2 minutes. From here, I'm actually going to take my other hand and apply it directly to my client's skin. The reason is because we need to create a complete surface, because I am conducting, I will need to also have a current going through her skin. When applying this on your own, you don't need to have a separate hand on any other part of your body. You can just apply directly to the skin. The first thing we're going to do is just kind of work into the skin in circular motions. This is really doing amazing things with the skin. It's bringing oxygen to the skin. These gels actually have a negative pull to them. Because we are using negative current, we're actually pushing that product very deep within the skin to bind impurities. The areas we'll really want to concentrate on are any areas of congestion. Typically, most clients will have it around the nose, the chin, around the T-zone areas. You'll notice also that the machine is beeping. That is telling me that the current is working and it's actively conducting with the skin. We're just going to go ahead and keep doing this. I notice my client is getting just a little dry, so I'm going to take a little toner and spritz it directly on her skin because we need to make sure we have moistness on the skin to actively conduct. In this setting, we really don't need to have a specific movement pattern on the skin. Again, just concentrate on those specific areas. Circular motions are just fine. However, when doing the positive polarity, we'll want to go a little bit more with the facial muscles. When this side is all finished, your machine will beep twice. That will tell you that the time is up and it's ready to move on. Watch our next segment on removing excess pre-treatment gel.
