Removing the Cutting Saw Blade on a Chop Saw

Hi! This is John on behalf of expertvillage.com. In this video clip, I will be showing you how to remove a cutting blade from a metal cutting chop saw. The first thing you need to make sure that you always do before making any adjustments is to unplug what you are working on. The next thing you will want to do is push in the arbor lock button and rotate the blade until the blade will not rotate until that arbor lock will lock the blade from rotating. Once your blade is locked, go ahead and grab a wrench and place it on the nut that holds your blade on and loosen it, remember righty tighty lefty loosy. Go ahead and remove the components holding your blade on, but be careful that you do not lose them and you can pull your blade off.
