Your Child's First Day of Kindergarten

Hi! My name is Ann and I am here to talk about how to be a successful parent and get your child to school on time. This can be a really big job especially if you are new parent and it is your first child in the family to go to school. One of the tips I can give you is to do the following. The night before you should layout the clothes that your son or daughter is going to wear to school. This will certainly make things a lot easier in the morning because that morning running around like a fool, it is so hard, so stressful, you end up raising your voice, getting nervous and making your son or daughter sad. You want school to be fun, you want school to not be stressful and surely as a parent one of the big things that I have learned to do over the years is to make sure that you know you have your clothes out that you have any school materials or backpacks ready to go at the door and all these will simplify getting ready to get to school on time. Thank you. Another quick tip which can certainly be a learning experience about laying out clothing the night before. You could take your son or daughter and go and when you are setting out the clothing go over the colors. Oh my goodness! This is a blue shirt or this is a yellow dress. Going over colors and may be even you know teaching some coordination of colors what works well together. This is a fun learning experience and very practical to include your son or daughter in the process of laying out clothing the night before, so you are ready for school.
