Letter Forming & Kindergarten Readiness

Hi! My name is Ann and I am here to talk to you about an important concept, which is writing correctly. Letter formation is something that is looked and analyzed within the classroom. It is something that teachers look for in the beginning of the school year and tests that are given, a student is asked for example one of the test questions is usually to write your name. And the teacher will be watching to see if you are doing proper letter formation from top to bottom, staying within the line, being careful with the dotted line in the middle. So here is something you could easily obtain at any store or the library or again you probably could access this on the Internet is letter formation manuscript handwriting. The proper way to write the letters of the alphabet, your capital and your lower case letters. And for example like the letter A you always start from the top to the bottom. You go from the top to the bottom and you cross from left to right and you stay and respect the integrity of the lines. An important concept and skill that is easily done at home, you can jump-start and have your child ready for kindergarten. Thank you.
