How to Export an iStopMotion Movie
iStopMotion is a registered trademark of Boinx software, and I am in no way affiliated with Boinx software. In this lesson, I'm going to teach you how to export your animation in iStopMotion. After you're done with your animation, if you want to come up to file and come down to export, what you can do here is export your movie. By default, it's going to export to a DV format, but if you want, you can also come down and click this tab right here. You can select a variety of different types of formats. You can export to Window Media if you have those on your computer. Also to Quick Time or whatever you want. After you give your animation a name and a format, click export and it'll export that for you. Also, you can select part of your movie by shift selecting the different frames you want exported. Come to file and select export selection. You can export that to a movie, or you can also export just the frames as separate images as well. You can also send your animation directly to final cut pro by clicking here. One of the other cool things you can do with iStopMotion is print your animation to a flip book. You can come down to page setup, and there's some options you configure here. Then you can come to file and select print flip book. That's going to print your animation out to a flip book. That's how you export your animation in iStopMotion.
