I'm asked here to talk about shadowboxes and why you would do a shadowbox. Shadowboxes are very personal things. They are to tell a story about someone. Let's say for instance this one this was grandma's plate and her little coffee cup, grandma used to coffee cup all the time. Everybody knew grandma, you knew that was grandma's coffee cup and you didn't use it, that was her's. These are to tell a story. This is the picture of the village where grandma grew up and where this coffee cup and saucer came from. As people look down especially as the family looks down on this and they would now exactly what it is, why it's there, grandma is now gone. But everybody wanted to remember grandma so that's why they brought me this. As they look down onto this picture is what they are going to see is grandma's coffee cup, they are going to see grandma's, this was a treasure picture in grandma's life. They are going to know why this was made, how come it was made and what it was made for. It's more of a memory treasure thought you want to take things that mean something to you and put them in a shadowbox. Whether it's the baby's Christmas outfit with the booties and the bonnet to grandma's medicine cabinet, they she didn't clean out for 70 years. It's all in the memory and to tell the story everybody that looks at it needs to kind of get the clue as to what is going on inside that box.
