Learn About Acid-Free Foamcore in Picture Frames

I have in my hand a piece of the acid free lean free piece of foam core. It's great for any piece of frame that you want to use it for. It's going to protect your art for many years to come; I would say 50-75-100 years, I know of 50. It is lean free and like I said which means that the pulps and the different things that are damaging to the product or taking out of it. It is similar to the regular foam core. It's about the same thickness. You can tell the difference this is very soft to the touch just like a baby's diaper soft. Where there is more like wax paper it's real slick, the color difference you can see the acid free tends to have a little bit more of a yellowy color to it. And the regular foam core is definitely a very white look. Out of the 3 the cardboard, the regular foam core and the acid free foam core my choice is always going to be the acid free foam core. This will protect your art work and ensure that you are going to be where you started for many years to come.
