Benefits of Having House Plants

Hi! My name is Austin Shepard and I am here with Expert Village. I am here today to talk to you about the benefits of having a household plant. Well number 1, household plants put oxygen into the air so we as humans breathe in oxygen and expel carbon dioxide. So what do we need in closed areas that we live in, we need more oxygen. Just having a couple of plants, like this one will put so much more oxygen into the air. Some of the benefits of having plants in your home is that they can teach children responsibility. A lot of times you can teach a child to really appreciate nature just simply by having them grow a seed into a little plant and take care of that plant from a small seedling into a giant flower. Another benefit of having plants is the fact that having a plant will liven up the room. Having a plant in your home will take any room no matter how drab it is and give it a touch of life. A lot of times you are only used to seeing plants outside in the real world. Well there is no reason why you shouldn't bring a plant indoors. Another great benefit of having plants growing in your home is that you can grow herbs and spies. Think about all those times cooking and you wished you had had some fresh Basil. Do you know how easy it is to grow Basil. It only takes a couple of seeds, some dirt and some water and about 2 months you will have a lot of Basil. Almost more than you would want.
