How to Clean the Chair Off & Finish It

Now don't worry, these clamps will often off while you're in the process of doing it, you just have to put them back on because you don't want to clamp this thing so tight that there's no room for movement. So the back looks good, everything looks good, now we'll go around with our wet rag and maybe our little brush here, put some water on that. And go around the corners everywhere and clean the glue off. There's not a whole lot of squeeze out and that's good, that means we put the right amount of glue. Ok, so once that's done, you put the chair aside and let it dry. That's essentially regluing a chair. We can talk about a couple other things like how to deal with nails and how to fix sub-assemblies in another chapter.
