How to Assemble the Slat Back of the Chair

You don't need a lot of glue. You just need enough to completely coat the part. Make sure you get some on the top, not too much. You don't want to glue these very heavily because the slat back is made to have a little bit of motion in it so that it moves when people sit in the chair. If you put too much glue, it will get rigid and put too much strain on the other parts of the chair. So we go ahead and stick this one in, stick the center in, stick the left side in and we'll go to the bottom and do the same thing we did with the top; a glob of glue. Wipe this glue off here. Spread it around. Put some on each of these parts. And stick it together. You got to be patient with this part because they all three have to go in at once and it can be a little bit tricky, but just go slow and there you go.
