How to Apply Glue to the Slat Back of the Chair

Ok, now when we start re-gluing the chair, we're going to start with the slat back. We want to arrange all your parts, bottom, top, center, left and right. Remember that you're gluing this together as you thought you were looking straight at the chair from the front. So we'll start by taking our glue and putting a little glob of glue, not very much, about maybe half a teaspoon, a little bit less for the smaller slots, and take your glue brush and move this glue all around. Now you want to make sure you don't come up with a well of glue in the bottom of the slot, or else when you put this part in there, its going to hit that glue and it won't close. So we'll get this all glue spread around real good and then we'll do the same thing to each part. I still got a little bit of glue left on my brush so I want to use that up.
