How to Clean the Old Glue Off the Chair

Alright, now we're ready to start cleaning the parts. You're going to need a knife like this, a mat knife, a little smaller knife. It?s helpful to have a chisel like this, but if you don't have one, a screwdriver or anything you can get down in these slots with will work. And I like to use this little copper brush. Let's start with one of the legs. Take your small knife and just get down in the hole and scrape it out. Usually I like to do this process sitting down with something nice on the radio, maybe a cold drink, because it can be a little bit tedious. Clean the hole out like that. You want to look down in there, make sure you got all the clumps of glue out and then just give it a tap and all the junk will fall out. Then we'll go to the slat back. For this, I use this knife. Scrape every one of these little tabs here just like that. Clean them. Make sure you get the glue off the shoulder right in that part. And we'll do the same thing to every one of these parts.
