For expertvillage.com this is Mitch Kaplan. In this segment we will be talking about humming and blowing. Humming and blowing is a technique that you would use in jazz or in more modern classical. You would actually hum, hmmm… and blow at the same time. This will give you this type of effect. It is used kind of like in a dirtier bluesy type of effect, so you can do something like this.
