BILL ZERVAKOS: Hi, I'm Bill Z. CATHY DROZ: And I'm Cathy D with Two for the Road USA on behalf of Expert Village. BILL ZERVAKOS: You know, we're getting ready to take the test drive, and now is when you really have to control your emotions and think about what you need, instead of maybe, what you want. Let's take a test drive. BILL ZERVAKOS: Well as you can see, we're clearly not driving a Z4 Convertible, we're driving a Ford but that's okay. It's a pretty nice Ford. It's got a lot of equipment on, including an ABS system, which we'll talk about later. But right now, all you're trying to do is just get a feel for the car. You're, kind of, seeing if it fits your lifestyle and even getting that sense of how it accelerates, and the view over the hood. You can see really all Cathy is doing here is just kind of puttering around, getting settled into the car, making sure that it feels comfortable for her, and the view. She's making some turns to get an idea of vision when you're coming up the stop signs. And these are some of the things you do initially when you get in the car. Now once you've done that and you have an opportunity to get out on the streets, this again, is where you want to kind of check out how you feel in the car. You know, does it feel big and bulky? Is it a nice size? Are you comfortable behind the wheel, vision good? All these things are important. Also the accessibility of the gauges. You know, this is a pretty nice sized gauge package here. You want to be able to just take a quick glance and know exactly what you're doing. So this is some of the stuff you do before you get on the highway. In our next segment, we'll talk about some more things you need to look for on the test drive.
