"ALLYN CHRISTOPHER: All right. We're now going to install the sweep tail. And this guy here is the brand new one, represent. This, not so much. All right? One of the main things you're going to see here is that it's--well it a little bit stiffer. It's not as supple as the brand new hose. Sometimes it gets so stiff they actually crack but the big difference is, one, this one doesn't have even have a sweep tail on it. Okay. Sweep is this little guy, a sweep tail scrubber rather--get off here--is this little guy here. It does two things. It literally sweeps and scrubs the deal. This one, the pool rather, the deal, important, but also it protects the fact that this thing rides on the bottom of the pool. And we can see here that this is one that has had no sweep tail on it and this one does. You can see that it's almost completely ruined. Water does shoot up the bottom of this to make it nice, all right? The other thing is that these here, the rollers, okay, now this one is almost completely worn. This is again head to head, old and new. Actually, let me show you that real comparison here. All right. A good shot of that old and new. This is actually running on the bottom of the pool so it's going to be very important that they're in good shape. So I'll slip this one back on and if you have to replace this, you just sort of--they are kind of pinchy but that's okay. Push and pull, ah! There it is. All right. This, no more. Sweep scrubber, sort of cajole it in place here. Oh, yeah. Okay, just so it's over there. And to give you an idea of when it's in the pool, you can see this--this is how it moves on the bottom of the pool. Okay. This hose doesn't actually touch it. The actual full installation of this is pretty already straightforward. All you gotta do here is moisten it, put it on the end of the nipple there and belt--oh, that's it. Now push it nice and deep on there till it roughly matches. All right. And then comes with the clamp. Now this one is removable unlike the ones we used inside. You actually have to push it sideways. Sort of pull it out there and we're going to push it around and tighten. Oh yes. Now usually a good hand squeeze will get it done and then it's on there and now, so it's just about ready for the pool."
