Hi, this is Antonia Hoyland on behalf of Expert Village. This game is called Fortune's Favorite. This game takes a single deck, no jokers. To set the game up, you start with the aces. Put them in a column alternating the colors. These are the foundations, which you put other cards on. Then, you lay down two columns of six cards apiece at random, to the left and right of the column of aces. The rest of the deck is the stockpile. Now, you're ready. Cards are built on the foundations from ace to king by suite. Cards from the outside two columns may be moved onto the foundations. Cards from the stock, can be placed on the two outside columns of cards, in descending order according to suite. Cards from the stock may be placed onto the columns, the foundations, or onto a single waste pile. They can also be used to fill any spaces left in the columns. So, the stockpile is really where everything starts. When the stock runs out, a second deal is allowed. You flip over the waste pile and start all over again. It sounds complicated, but it really isn't. Like in a solitaire, you build from ace to king by suite. This is the same way, just with a different way of doing things, and with less hidden cards.
