How to Play Saratoga Solitaire

Hi, this is Antonia Hoyland on behalf of Expert Village. This game is called Saratoga. Saratoga uses one deck of cards, a standard deck with no jokers. This is a very fun game, which you're probably already familiar with, because it takes the exact same structural rules, laid out the same way, it's played the same way as regular old solitaire. But it has one big exception to that. All the cards are played face up. All the seven rows, with the cards that go down, everything is face up. It takes a lot of the guesswork out of regular old solitaire, and puts it more into the realm of strategy, which is certainly an interesting take on the game. Some people might be familiar with the idea of either drawing one card or three cards from your stockpile. In this game, you do have to do three cards at a time, which makes it, of course, a little bit more difficult. So, when you're in a doctor's waiting room and all you have is a single deck of cards, and you can't watch more videos and know different variations on solitaire, and you're getting really bored of regular, regular old solitaire, face down, you can always play Saratoga because it's so easy to remember, because it's exactly the same, except for everything is face up.
