Hi, I'm Candi Cane Canncel with Expert Village. So you already made a perfect rectangular around it so you just want to go ahead and take out all the pins. Where you have your center line you just want to bring it out so that it's two triangles on either side. It's going to look like this and this is basically your cutting line. Because what you're going to be doing is cutting into the fabric and cutting into these little side corners. So you take a really sharp pointy pair of scissors, you fold over the fabric a little, cut into it. Just be really careful when you are cutting cause you don't want to cut into the stitches on the corner. You do want to take it all the way to the corner. Keep going with this and do the same thing for the other side again just be really careful that you get as close to the corner as you can without cutting the stitches. Now once you done that you are ready to take your facing and turn it inside out to the wrong side of the fabric. You have your little hole go ahead and turn it in and our bound buttonhole is starting to take shape. The next step we're going to be pressing it and pinning it and then we're actually going to start stitching it together so you can have the perfect buttonhole.
