About Phone Messages After the Job Interview
I'm Don Varney of Varney Speaks and on behalf of Expert Village. Today we're going to talk about the interview process. Secondly, make sure that if you are going to use the house phone, change your message at the house. Don't get into music and trick questions. I love the ones where they say something and then go ha ha ha I bet you thought it was really me on the phone, or listen to the music. We're the Browns, here's Mary, here's Terry, here's Gary, here's Larry. Most interviewers will hang up. The reason being is personally, they're not interested in listening to your family history what you think is cute. They're trying to contact you to offer you a job. For that period of time, change your recording. Secondly, if you're going to use the private cell phone that I mentioned, put a professional message on there identifying yourself, identifying that you will call them back immediately upon receipt of this message, and thank them very much for leaving a message and calling.
