A Guide to Google Notebook

Hi, in this series I'm going to be showing you how to use Google Notebook, which is just another one of the great products that Google offers. And basically, what it is, it's a place where you can organize clippings from all over the webs. By "clippings", I mean something like this. Like, here's just a paragraph from a Wikipedia article. And I clicked it and I added it to a notebook. And, say I had a notebook about bicycles because I'm researching bicycles. I go anywhere I found information on the web about bicycles. I clip it, add it to one of my Google notebooks, and then organize all that information. So you see how it's kind of like a- almost like a research tool for gathering information from all over the web into one place and then organizing it. And they set it up and those are what notebooks are. A notebook is about one thing, like bicycles. Or something like that. So I'm going to be showing you everything you can do with Google notebook. Basically, how to use it. And then you'll be able to see- you'll see how useful it could be to research and organize information that you find all over the web. Instead of maybe- say instead of just like bookmarking pages all over the place and not knowing what anything is, if all I want is one paragraph from a website, I add it to my notebook. There we go. I mean, I can always go back to that website because they've got links all over. Links back to it, like right here. But anyway, let me show you how first thing, you're going to need a Google account. So if you have a Gmail account, you already have access to Google notebooks. But let me just show you how to make an account really fast. We're going to sign out of this one. So, probably the easiest way is just search "Google notebook", and then go to it. And then, since you don't have an e-mail and password, just say, No Google Account? Sign up. And then you just want to enter in your e-mail address and then choose a password. Select the location. Write in this word. Agree to the terms of service. You could also, instead of creating just a- creating a Google account, you could create a Gmail account, and that might be easier. Gmail is Google's e-mail. And I mean, that's what I have. It's just a Gmail account, so I can access all my other, my other products. But that's how you get a Google account. And then, in the following clips, I'm just going to show you how you use Google notebook.
