Hi! I'm Kelli. On behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to show you some tips and techniques that I use to give your face an overall perfect canvas. Another technique you can use to help you achieve a perfect canvas is a contouring effect. I like to use a powder. This is actually a mineral powder. It's maybe just a touch darker than you foundation. We're going to use a light powder brush. Basically what we're going to do is we're going to contour any areas that we want to either slim or minimize. Say you had a heavier jaw line and you wanted to kind of slim that area. You could apply a little bit of your powder along there. We're going to kind of contour her cheek bones a little bit here, so we're going to kind of shade with our powder going up the cheek bone to give a little bit more of an effect. When we put a little bit of color on the apples of her cheeks, it's going to really pop, so we're defining her cheek bones a little bit more. You can use the technique too if say you want to slim the appearance of your nose. You could put a little bit of this color on either side of the nose. That'll slim the appearance. If you had a wider forehead, you could put a little bit of your color on either side of the forehead to kind of slim the appearance. All depending on what your major concern is with your face or what you're trying to minimize. That will lead you where you want to contour. You always want to think in terms of a darker will minimize and a lighter color will enhance. Just by putting a little bit of darker color there, you can kind of slim any areas that you want to and you can achieve the look that you want. That's how you would want to use a contour.
