Applying Foundation Makeup

Hi! I'm Kelli. On behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to show you some tips and techniques that I use to give your face an overall perfect canvas. Now that we have our skin prepped and we have our foundation primer on, we're going to apply some foundation to her skin. We're going to use powder foundation on a foundation brush, which will give us a moderate to full coverage. Help us kind of cover up some of these discolorations here. We're just going to brush this all over her face. Get her really nice and even. You can see as we're applying it, it blends really nicely into her skin. It's not leaving her any lines or demarcation along her jaw line and it looks really natural. It doesn't necessarily look like she has a ton of makeup on, which is what you're going for when you're trying to achieve a perfect canvas. You don't want to look like you have a full face of makeup on. You just want to look really nice, smooth, even, have a perfect color, and basically just enhance and even out your skin tone. That's how you would want to apply your foundation.
